The client for the forever home is of Latvian heritage which drew me to explore Latvian music, which is a powerful, cultural identity and inspired my concept pattern development.

Through visual analysis and abstraction, I created a repetitive pattern based on connections. Through the music, these connections include history, heritage, and family that influenced the design intent. The final iteration of the pattern symbolizes the strong connection between family. The concept for this project is based on family connections. Using music as the template for my concept exploration

Design Intent

The design intent for this residential project is to create a harmonious and functional living space that seamlessly blends aesthetic elegance with the comfort and needs of the homeowner, ensuring a timeless inviting atmosphere made for aging in place.
